A nice idea for contextualizing “green” issues…

I also like the table boat below which is yet another example of the never ending furniture fetish in the art world. Surely some curator at a museum somewhere needs to aggregate all this stuff in one place. I’m still a bit at a loss to understand why furniture has become such a muse in arts and design in the past year or two. Does anyone have any good theories?

I’ll throw in a few more recent examples of furniture fetish (albeit not from Allora & Calzadilla).
